Overview
The MRT-10 is a 10 inch touch panel that sits outside a meeting room and tells everyone whether it is free.
The light bar surrounding the panel provides all round view of the status of the meeting room. It glows green when the room is open and red when it is booked, so you can see the answer from the end of the corridor without walking up to read a screen.
Walk up and you can book the room on the spot, check in to the meeting you already have, or release the room early when you finish. The screen takes taps like a phone.
It sticks straight onto glass with tape that peels off cleanly, so you are not drilling holes in a wall you might want back. One cable carries power and network, which keeps the install simple.
It runs Android, so your booking system runs on it. Rooms stop sitting empty because nobody knew they were free.
